I saw Dr. Egan today for a hearing test and workup to replace my ancient hearing aids. She had been recommended by a friend who is a patient. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I am very fortunate that my daughter suggested I make an appointment at "Now Hear This". I didn't have to wait weeks or months for an appointment. At my initial visit I was warmly greeted by Karina and Dawn. I was introduced to Dr. T and had an informative conversation with her before she performed a very thorough hearing evaluation. She explained the aspects of my hearing loss and fitted me... with a hearing aid that she thought would be most beneficial. When I left her office I was astounded by the things I was hearing as I walked to my car. She had me return for follow up visits to be sure I was satisfied with the aids and reviewed the features and answered my concerns. Several weeks later I began to notice that the hearing aids were not holding the charge. Dr. T tested the aids and concurred they were faulty. She offered another brand to me, fitted them, made any adjustments I wanted. I am extremely pleased with this second set, the way Dr. T addressed my concern, and that she has followed up with me to be sure I am pleased and the aids are working correctly. No additional charge! Now Hear This and Dr Egan are both wonderful! I've been to numerous audiologists over the years and they are by far the best. You can buy hearing aids anywhere, but adjusting them to work for you is what really counts, and this is where Now Hear This excels. These people have Customer Service down to a fine art. I have NEVER encountered a practice so customer oriented.Not only did Dr. Tessitore fix my hearing aids she fixed the Bluetooth on my phone as well.Billing will work with you on any issue and actually take the time to explain the charges.Best in the Triangle by far.

Do you offer walk-in appointments?

We proudly offer 24-hour ‘drop off’ hearing aid repair services during our normal business hours. Call us at (919) 256-2989 for more information or visit us in person at 4701 Creedmoor Road, Suite 111 in Raleigh.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Do you accept my insurance?

How do I schedule a hearing test?

Where are you located?

Our clinic is conveniently located at 4701 Creedmoor Rd #111, Raleigh, NC 27612. You’ll find us just outside the beltline behind The Container Store. With easy parking and ground-level access, there’s no need to worry about elevators or stairs.

We are no longer waiting on Medicare. We have the first (and ONLY) Medicare Hearing Aid Discount in the Triangle!

Directions from Apex to Now Hear This®

1. Get on US-1 North: Head north on N Salem Street towards Center Street. Turn right onto W Williams Street and continue on NC-55 East. Use the left lane to merge onto US-1 North via the ramp to Raleigh.

2. Take Exit 293 for I-40 East: Stay on US-1 North for about 7 miles. Take Exit 293 to merge onto I-40 East towards Raleigh.

3. Take Exit 289 for Wade Avenue: Stay on I-40 East for approximately 4 miles. Take Exit 289 to merge onto Wade Avenue towards I-440/US-1 North.

4. Continue on Wade Avenue: Stay on Wade Avenue for about 3.5 miles. Keep right to stay on Wade Avenue as it merges into I-440 North/US-1 North.

5. Take Exit 7 for US-70 West/Glenwood Avenue: Exit I-440 North at Exit 7 towards US-70 West/Glenwood Avenue.

6. Continue on Glenwood Avenue: Stay on Glenwood Avenue for about 1 mile. You’ll pass landmarks like the Crabtree Valley Mall.

7. Immediately After Passing Creedmoor Road from Glenwood Avenue, Take the First Right Turn: As soon as you turn onto Creedmoor Road, make the first right onto the entrance to The Container Store. Proceed down the side road, passing by The Container Store along your right. Continue over the speed bumps until you see an office building ahead.

8. Arrive at Now Hear This®, Suite 111: Now Hear This® is located in Suite 111 in the office building at 4701 Creedmoor Rd.

Samantha Shopovick, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Samantha Shopovick earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Auburn University and her clinical Doctorate of Audiology degree from Ohio University. Before working at Now Hear ThisⒸ, Dr. Shopovick worked at an Otolaryngology clinic, seeing a diverse caseload that has made her well-trained in all aspects of Audiology. Her specialties include adult diagnostics, adult hearing aid fittings, and adult cochlear implant programming. She uses the most recent evidence-based practices during her programming appointments with the goal of enabling individuals to maintain communication with their loved ones.

Megan E. Schlater, AuD

Dr. Schlater earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and was an elementary school teacher for five years before she found an interest in Audiology. She earned her clinical doctorate in Audiology from the Northeast Ohio Au.D Consortium. Dr. Schlater’s specialties include adult diagnostics, adult hearing aid fittings and reprogramming, assistive listening devices, and Tinnitus management. She uses evidence-based practice including Real Ear Measures and Speech in Noise testing during hearing aid programming appointments to verify hearing aids are functioning optimally.
