Meet Dawn
Dawn Geda is a dedicated and skilled Practice Manager at Now Hear This®, where she has been an integral part of the audiology team since the business first opened in January 2012.
In addition to her role as a licensed Audiology Assistant, Dawn brings years of experience in customer service, patient advocacy, and business development. Her extensive knowledge, technical expertise, and compassionate approach play a vital role in the clinic’s daily operations, making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with hearing challenges.
Originally from Michigan, Dawn holds multiple certifications, including credentials in legal, anatomical, radiographic, and audiology technology. Her background in office administration and management, combined with a deep passion for audiology, has made her a pivotal figure in the development, success, and continued growth of Now Hear This® Audiology. As one of the clinic’s first three employees and under the mentorship of renowned audiologists in the Triangle area, Dawn has played a key role in shaping the clinic’s patient care philosophy—an approach that remains in practice today.
Dawn is a strong advocate for a patient-centered approach to audiology care. She prioritizes clear communication and personalized support, ensuring that each patient experiences a successful and fulfilling hearing health journey. Her commitment to ongoing education and staying informed on the latest advancements in hearing technology allows her to help patients access the most effective and innovative solutions available.
Beyond her work, Dawn enjoys spending time in the North Carolina and Tennessee mountains, exploring scenic hiking trails with friends and family. A DIY enthusiast, she loves tackling home improvement projects and expanding her tool collection in her Morrisville home. Her interests also include kayaking, gardening, visiting public gardens, attending concerts, antiquing, and home décor—reflecting her passion for both the outdoors and creative pursuits.
Looking ahead, Dawn is excited to contribute to the expansion of Now Hear This® clinics, increase community awareness of hearing loss and its connection to serious health conditions, and, most importantly, continue improving the quality of life for individuals experiencing hearing loss or impairment.
