Hi, I’m Dr. Egan from Now Hear This, and today I want to talk to you about something that not all of our patients know about—our hearing aid loaner program.
Basically, if you’re one of our established patients and you lose your hearing aids, need to send them out for repair, or face any other situation where you’re temporarily without them, we offer a loaner program. We will program hearing aids specifically for your hearing loss and let you use them until your hearing aid returns or a new solution is reached.
I’m back here in our lab today, and to give you a visual, this row of hearing aids charging represents just some of our preset loaner hearing aids. We always have them charging and ready in case someone calls and says:
“I have a business meeting,”
“I have a wedding this weekend.”
We want to have something available immediately that we can program on short notice.
Additionally, we have even more loaner hearing aids, including some of the more unusual styles and models that are less commonly used. As long as we have enough heads-up, we can also program these as loaners.
The reason we offer this program is simple—we want to make hearing more accessible. After all, what good is a hearing aid if it’s out for repair and you can’t hear in the meantime?
If you need a loaner hearing aid, just give us a call. If it is a less common type or model, we might need a little extra time to get it set up, but typically, we can have them ready for you within the next day.
