What causes hearing loss?
The sounds that individuals perceive within normal hearing range differs from person to person. At the high end of normal hearing range, we typically hear treble notes like the ring of a cell phone. At the low end, we hear bass sounds like the rumble of a truck passing on the street.
The most common types of hearing loss are sensorineural hearing loss, which has a variety of causes, including but not limited to:
